Karamoja province has summoned 31 players a head of the FUFA Drum preliminary game against Bugishu province.
The game is scheduled for 24th August 2024 in Mbale city stadium. Five of the 31 player’s summoned are from Agape, Murygaz in Kotido and Calvary football in Arua.
The players include Shukuru Alhajji(Goal keeper)Yunus Ocheng Ali and Kalodo Mugisha,,(Defenders) . the others are Hassan Lomwar(Attacking Midfielder) and Jamal Butong(Forwards).
This will be the first call up for both Hassan Lomwar and Jamal Butong by the Karamoja province.
Johnson Nyiria fire fax the chairperson Karamoja province team who also double as FUFA delegate Karamoja sub-region confirmed the development to radio Etoil A Karamoja saying the selection exercise was conducted on Monday 5th August 2024 at City friends Hotel Moroto.
According to Nyiria, the 31summoned players will report for the residential on Monday next week before they travel to Mbale City for the 1st Leg Tie.
Nyira added that the team will play at least two friendly build up matches before setting off to Mbale for the preliminary game.
