Etoil A Karamoja FM 92.7 is a community-oriented radio station serving the Karamoja region. The station is owned by Kotido Catholic Diocese and broadcasts from Kotido Town with the signal covering approximately a 100km radius stretching into areas neighboring areas of Turkana, Teso, Acholi, and Lango.
Etoil A Karamoja began broadcasting on July 1st, 2015 becoming the pioneer radio in the area and a preferred choice for most media stakeholders owing to its relevant programming and good reputation among the public. The station seeks to play a significant role in helping to inform the community and empower them to hold duty bearers more accountable, thereby improving transparency, service delivery, and quality of life.
Etoil A Karamoja strives to help build a greater sense of inclusion and belonging among the Karimojong community at a wider national and regional level and to play a major role in guaranteeing appropriate development policies and strategies by influencing policy and decision-making processes.
