The Councilor of Kacheri Sub County to Kotido District, John Bosco Lochu has been suspended for two consecutive Council and committee sittings over indiscipline and disrespect of the orders given by the Speaker.
The District Speaker gave Lochu matching orders from the house when he informed council that that there was pressure over the ownership of Lolelia borderline.
When he was guided to follow the order paper since the council convened to lay the budget, Lochu insisted to drag the house to discussing the border issues.
This prompted the speaker to order the councilor out of the house after learning that he was intoxicated with alcohol.
However, Lochu said that he was unfairly suspended from council.
The Kotido Resident District Commissioner, Charles Ichogor asked the councilors to observe council procedures in order to have meaningful council deliberations.
