Agape FC edged out Kotido Muslim team 1-0 in a thrilling match marking the end of Holy Month of Ramadan, Eid- Al- Fitr
The decisive goal was scored by Cyrus Acuka of Agape FC in the 60th minute, securing the win for his team.
The match was a highlight of the Eid Al Fitr celebrations, bringing together the community for a day of sports and entertainment.
However, Kotido Muslim team’s Ali Obonyo attributed their loss to lack of fitness and coordination among his teammates.
Obonyo in a post-match interview said the Muslim team rarely practiced together, and it was evident on the field.
Despite the loss, Obonyo emphasized the importance of regular practice, even if not intensive, to achieve better results in the future.
