Victor Battalion Kacheri football team’s journey in this year’s Kotido Uhuru Cup tournament has hit a dead end after they were thumped 3:0 by their counterparts 405-brigade football team.
Jackson Tameri and Innocent Orionzi were on the score sheet, netting a brace and one goal respectively in a thrilling quarter-finals game played at Kotido Bomag rounds on Sunday.
Victor battalion football team kept pushing for the second but the 405-brigade football team kept calm and composed.
405 battalion football team head coach, Godwin Turyamureba, said that his focus now is winning the semifinals stage of the tournament in order to progress to the final.
In today’s fixtures, Panyangara football team will take on 43 battalion Rengen football team at 4:00pm while Kingstone football team will face off Market Boys football team .
