Kotido-Uganda National Examinations Board-UNEB has delivered six boxes of the 2022 Primary leaving examination materials to Kotido district. PLE examinations kicked off today with briefing.
The materials were delivered at around 1:30 pm by a military helicopter. They were received by the district and municipal education authorities and security personnel at Lomukura primary school.
Denis Okengo the Municipal inspector of schools while receiving the materials said that 2 boxes of the examination materials will be taken to Kacheri center while 4 boxes will remain at the main center. He said about 904 pupils across the district and municipality were on Monday briefed and are ready to sit for their exams which start on Tuesday.
According to Okengo the education authorities have already secured vehicles to help distribute the examination materials.

Joseph Orisa the district information officer Kotido asked parents to support their children and ensure that they don’t miss out the exams.
Lobur Elijah Lokoribok the Rengen sub county LC3 chairperson and Nouri Ashraf Teko the Rengen sub county LC5 councilor during a courtesy visit to Rengen primary school on Monday asked candidates to desist from acts that may make them miss exams.

According to the PLE roadmap released by UNEB, pupils will begin exams on November 8th, 2022 with Mathematics in the morning and Social Studies in the afternoon. On November 9th, 2022 the pupils will conclude their exams with Science in the morning and English in the afternoon.
