The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results released on Friday, March 13, 2026.
According to UNEB, the official release will take place at 11:00am at State House Nakasero and will be presided over by the first Lady and Minister of Ministry of Education and Sports Janet Kataah Museveni
A total of 166,402 candidates registered for the 2025 UACE examinations, which were conducted at 2,844 examination centres across the country.
The cohort consists of 93, 630 male candidates representing 56 percent, and 77,772 females accounting for 44 percent.
UNEB noted that the examinations were successfully administered nationwide as part of the national assessment for students completing the advanced level of secondary education.
The board has, however, asked all heads of UACE Centres to ensure that they clear all the outstanding debts with UNEB before the release of the results, warning that results for schools that owe UNEB shall not be released.
The UACE examinations mark the final stage of Uganda’s national assessment cycle and determine eligibility for admission into universities and other tertiary institutions.
