Students of Kotido SS have a history of vandalism. Last year they destroyed and stole 2 CCTV cameras installed for security purposes and attempted to burn a boy’s dormitory.

They cut off the fence from various points to ease free entry and exit from the school.

The school later slapped a fine of 100,000 shillings to the students, especially the senior- six and senior- four students of last year of 2024 for damaging the cameras.
