North East Regional League clubs have been urged to take advantage of the ongoing transfer window to strengthen their squads ahead of the league’s return.
The transfer window opened on the first of this month and will close on March 2, 2026.
Speaking to Etoil Sports desk, the chairperson North East Regional Football Association (NERFA), John Odongo said that club managers, particularly those participating in the regional league should seize this transfer window opportunity to bolster their squads.
According to Odongo, each club was expected to register a total of 25 players at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
He cautioned that NERFA would not register any player acquired after the transfer window.
The second leg of the Regional League according to Odongo, will resume this Saturday.
