Pupils in Karamoja schools have brought home eleven medals from the recently concluded National Kids Athletics and Special Needs Education (SNE) Championship in Kabale Municipality.
The medals comprising gold, silver and bronze were won by the pupils of Karenga, Abim, Moroto and Nabilatuk districts.
Karenga grasped three bronze and two silver medals, Abim got three silver medals, Moroto had two silver medals and Nabilatuk scooped the first and the only gold medal in Shot- Put.
Kevin Wasike, the chairperson of Nabilatuk district Kids athletics who doubles as the vice chairperson of Karamoja regional primary kid’s athletics association confirmed the development to Etoil A Karamoja in an exclusive interview.
