The Anti-Air Defense football team faces a high–stakes tie against Hospital football team in the finals of Nakapelimoru 405 Brigade inter-departmental football tournament slated for Sunday.
Hospital team thumped Artillary 2-1 in the semi-finals while Anti-Air Defense football team narrowly triumphed over Nakapelimoru Army secondary school in a dramatic 10-9 penalty shootout.
Innocent Orionzi, the Tournament’s coordinator said that interdepartmental tournament is aimed at promoting social cohesion and strengthen ties between military personnel.
He noted that the finals will be open to the public, underscoring the important bond between the military and civilians.
Orionzi added that all the four teams will be appreciated by the 405 Brigade commander on the final day of the tournament.
