Agape United Football Club in Kotido district has been kicked out of St Daniel Comboni Primary School playground for breaching the Memorandum of Understanding.
As per the Memorandum of Understanding between the management of St Daniel Comboni Primary School and Agape United FC, the Club was required to collect maintenance fee of Shs1, 000 from each fan whenever they had a game.
However, the Club which has been using the school’s field and other facilities for the last seven months as their home ground, failed to fulfill their obligation.
The non-compliance of the Club’s management prompted the latter to ask them to vacate the playground.
A source who preferred anonymity told Etoil A Karamoja that on April 3rd, this year, the Club’s Chief Executive Officer wrote a letter to North East Regional Office (NERFA), asking for permission to relocate to Boma Ground.
Speaking to Etoil A Karamoja, John Odongo, the Chairperson North East Region said that club’s request to relocate to Kotido Boma Ground was approved.
This now means that Agape Football Club will now be hosting their coming North East Regional League matches at Boma Ground.
