Armed criminals on Sunday night attacked Kalosarich primary school in Kotido district causing panic as the school term begins.
The criminals reportedly 4 in number stormed the school at around 10 PM, broke into the school store and head teachers house before making off with 2bags of sorghum and the school boilers.
They reportedly also placed the teenage boys who were taking watch of the head teacher’s home at gun point.
Susan Akot the school head teacher told Etoil A Karamoja on the phone that at the time of the attack, she had travelled out of the school.
According to Akot last week armed criminals again attacked the school, broke into the girl’s dormitory and tempered with the solar power system.
She however said that they are still assessing the magnitude of the damage inflicted by the attackers.

In 2022, the Kotido district authorities closed Lookorok primary school for 3 weeks and withdrew all the teaching staff due to the numerous attacks on the school by the armed criminals.
