Kaabong district LCV chairperson Meri Jino Bornd has made a mini reshuffle in his executive dropping two of his secretaries and appointing three others.
In a letter dated 1st March 2023 addressed to the speaker Kaabong district local government council, a copy that this radio has obtained, Meri made the changes citing the need to foster better service delivery in the district.
Quoting section 20 (a) of the local government Act CAP 243, Meri revoked the appointments of Anthony Lotyang, the secretary administration and finance, and that of Santina Lemukol, secretary production and marketing with immediate effect.
Similarly, citing section 18 (3) of the local government Act CAP 243, Meri appointed the Kaabong West district councilor Hon. Logwe Albine as secretary administration and finance with immediate effect.
In the same reshuffle Meri appointed the district councilor Kaabong town council Hon. Loiki Gabriel Paak, secretary health, and Hon. Muria Adele, the district woman councilor for Kalapata as secretary production and marketing pending district council approval.
