Farm Radio International has been hailed for supporting farmers by extending agricultural advisory messages to rural farmers through pre-recorded radio programs.

Farm Radio International patterned with Etoil A Karamoja to air out advisory messages to farmers in north Karamoja between November and January, 2024 in the program called ” Etata Obara” from 3pm to 4pm.

Sam Ogenrwot, the programs manager Etoil A Karamoja, says the topics discussed on radio were generated by the agricultural and climate specialists.

Mathew Longok Abekson, the Etata Obara program host said the pre-recorded programs have helped equip farmers with information and knowledge on best agricultural practices and weather forecast.
